Big day for two of our older joeys. Hoppy and Roo-by are having their first day out of the high school yard.
Hoppy has been in care since the beginning of November 2019 when he was a little velvet. He was raised for the first month by WIRES Northern Rivers volunteer, Sally, before he came to Araucaria Sanctuary. Roo-by came to us as an older joey in Mid February.
Most joeys spend a little while going back into the pen at night till they learn their way around the Sanctuary… A big but exciting day for these two! They even met a chook for the first time face to face! Scary!
