Big name, tiny joey

January 31, 2021 Araucaria Sanctuary Team Wildlife Care

This is little Esperance, the Red-necked Pademelon pinky. Esperance means “Hope” in French, so it was a good choice of name by Solene and Axel. It is still very early days, and Espy is very young, but she is drinking well and doing fine so far. We have lots of hope that she will make it.
