Thanks to Conservation Volunteers Australia and Nick from Sentinel Tree Care an additional 10 habitat boxes are now up in the trees at Araucaria. These were boxes made by Don and installed by Nick as part of our partnership with CVA.
A fabulous workshop was held on Friday 3rd, with 15 volunteers attending and assembling and painting some pre-fabbed boxes which will be installed at other properties next year.
Nick also demonstrated the creation of Hollow-hogs. The workshop volunteers had a walk through some of the established plantings and Nick scaled a large eucalypt tree and created a Hollow-hog while we all watched on.
