As always, when things get busy, the newsletter postings slow down. We have had quite a few new joeys into care, and we said goodbye to Mr Grey who has moved on to another WIRES carer, Elena, who can release Kangaroos. Primary guys are now in high school, high school guys are on day release, and we have four little ones in intensive care. In lieu of a longer post, we thought we would share some photos of just some of the joeys in care.

Hawk – a little Swampy destined for great things
Newest arrival – Sparrow (aka Gizmo) – a very undernourished Swampy- will be buddied with Hawk when she is well
Pigeon – A little red-neck pinky girl
Pea – Like all very tiny joeys, she may not make it but we are giving her a go. So far so good…
Pitter Patter – He has come so far since he came into care. A very difficult bub, but doing OK
Mr Instagram Influencer himself… Wally.
Puppet – lapping up the first rays of morning sun
Hawk meets Sparrow for the first time
The sun finally shines! Three little joeys go out for Vitamin D
We may be in Primary now but we aren’t too old for a Kym cuddle. Evie 1 and Bunyip.
Farewell My Grey – Everyone loved you! Have fun at your new home
